So I installed this, attached it, and ran it only to get this:


Not sure what to do with it. Everything is set up correctly, and the "new forum" words actually link to the right forum..but obviously it's unusable.

Well, obviously it that happens to you there must be a reason for it, in order to know what's going on I need more details about the system you are running, joomla version, php version, module version, mysql version, phpbb version.

The picture you posted is the only output you get ? Also could you post a screenshot of the module's configuration ? remember to cover the user/password and any other private information.

I had the same issue after installing the module. The reason is the use of

Code: Select all

<?

instead of

Code: Select all

<?php

as the first is not getting recognized as PHP code by the webserver's php module (at least here with apache and php). Changing the code in the module's template fixes the problem.

Many thanks for the info I'have changed the php tags and I'll re-upload the fixed 1.8 version later today.

Edit: Actually I've uploaded a new version v1.81 just in case anybody else has the issue with the v1.8. The version can be checked in the description of the module in the module manager.
